Family Centered Speech Therapy Services
Consultations
Not sure if your child would benefit from an evaluation? We can discuss your concerns and decide whether or not a speech therapy evaluation is warranted at this time.
Initial Evaluations
Evaluations are 60 minutes. We will determine the presence or absence of a speech or language disorder through a variety of assessment tools including parent interview, formal assessment, and informal observations.
Individualized Therapy
Individualized, 1:1 therapy sessions are 45 minutes. We take into account your child's specific needs and goals and make it easy for families to receive the help they need by traveling to their home, daycare, or school.
Caregiver Coaching
Even if your child does not qualify for speech services, you might be looking for additional support and guidance in the area of speech and language development. Caregiver coaching sessions allow you to learn meaningful strategies to continue to foster your child's development.
Group Classes
We offer Toddler Talk classes through the Park Ridge Park District. These 45-minute classes help encourage language development in 12-24 month olds and provide caregivers with the strategies to feel confident in fostering their child's language development. Daycare & School
Screenings
We coordinate with daycares and schools to offer onsite screenings. Screenings are approximately 15 minutes per child and informally assess their language and speech based on their age to determine if they might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation.
